Lochee United vs Tayport – Match Preview

Old rivals Tayport are our guests this weekend, this game has always been fiercely contested and to put another edge on the game, Eddie Wolecki who managed Lochee United is now the Tayport gaffer.

While we were winning 2-1 at home to Lochee Harp last week in the league Tayport had a 1-0 win in the Quest cup against Fraserburgh. Lochee are three points clear of Tayport in the league table but we have two games in hand having played twenty two games to their twenty four.

The team met back in August with Lochee running out 4-1 winners over at Tayport in a match that we struggled in the first half and were lucky to go in at the break 1-1 but made amends in the second half dominating the match to win comfortably.
